Summer 2016 Examination Results

We are delighted today to celebrate a strong set of IB and French Baccalaureat results for our students.  I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to all our Terminale and Grade 12 students and to their teachers.

In the International Section, special congratulations to Sabina on achieving the second-highest-ever IBDP score at Beau Soleil with 43 points.  All the students should be extremely proud of their achievements, with 48% receiving a bilingual diploma (Chinese, Portuguese, Japanese, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian and French were all offered at “A” level) and 28% of the students scoring 36+ points.  Their dedication and hard work over the two years has clearly paid off.

A special mention goes to the six Grade 11 pupils who all achieved an IBDP 6 or 7 on their French B SL Anticipated examinations.  With a 100% pass rate, the challenge of squeezing in two years’ worth of work into less than one academic year has clearly reaped rewards.

In the French Section, there were some outstanding achievements, notably Dale who scored 16.07/20 and secured a Mention, Tres Bien; also Joseph and Vladi who achieved Mentions Bien.  With 66% of the Terminale students attaining a mention, the staff and students should feel rightly proud of their achievements.

Beau Soleil believes strongly in helping every student to achieve their best and we are delighted that so many of the students achieved or exceeded their predicted grades.

The exciting business of securing university places is now well underway.  Mrs Vale and Mr Esposito are working closely with students to guide them through the process of accepting offers.   Should you require any help or support with any aspect of your results, please do not hesitate to contact one of our team:
